- This is a one-of-a-kind instrument from the PMT Special Edition Series. In this special model line, exclusively built in a close co-operation between ESP and ProMusicTools, each (!) instrument is a one-off custom creation built by our original specifications. Apart from many interesting features not available on standard production models, it is also the pricing which makes them very attractive: We offer most of the guitars for about only 1/2 of the usual price paid for a similar instrument ordered through the Custom Shop.

- The concept for this guitar is based upon the ESP Eclipse-II - a very popular, classic ESP model, with absolutely professional features and an outstanding price-quality relation.
- Finish: See Thru Faded Aqua (high-gloss), with black hardware. Back of the body - See Thru Black Aqua.
- Body: Mahogany.
- Top: Quilted maple - with an amazing look of a really rare, perfect, exceptional 3D-quality - please see the pictures - however, they can hardly demonstrate the deep and beauty of the quilt at all: In reality, the instrument's top looks even much more spectacular. Many other major guitar manufacturers would ask a more than serious upcharge for a top of comparable quality.
- Neck: Mahogany. Set neck construction - this enables a very good sustain, an easy access to the upper frets, and of course a full, 'fat' tone.
- Scale: 24.75' - like Gibson Les Paul, SG, Explorer etc., i.e. a 2 cm shorter scale than for instance a Stratocaster, resulting in better playability even with thicker string gauges.
- Fretboard: Ebony, with ESP Custom Flag inlays - including 12th fret, as opposed to the usual ESP plate inlay in the 12th fret.
- Frets: 22, XJ (Jumbo) - with a perfect fretjob, another famous feature of ESP instruments.
- Nut: 42 mm - Standard.
- Headstock: ESP Eclipse-Style - color-matching the body finish.
- Bindings: White - a very noble looking instrument!
- Tuners: Sperzel USA locking tuners - often requested by professional artists, these tuners are a must-have for the demanding musician. The key to their design is eliminating wraps around the string post, which can cause string slippage and tuning problems. Simply loosen the thumbwheel located on the back, feed the string through the post, lock the thumbwheel tight, cut off the remaining string, tune up and youre finished better tuning stability and no more restringing nightmares.
- Bridge: Non-tremolo, Gotoh Tune-o-matic with stoptail - lots of sustain and helps to stay in tune, as well.
- Pickups: Seymour Duncan Alternative 8 SH-15 (bridge) & Jazz Model SH-2 (neck) humbuckers - both are among the best of Seymour Duncan creations. SH-15 with an Alnico 8 magnet gives a huge, punchy sound, full of fat mids and present upper-mids, whereas the SH-2 provides an articulate and clear tone, and is great for fast runs. With the splitting function available, this combination is extremely versatile.
- Alternatively, upon request of the purchaser, we can also perform a professional installation of a different pickup combination, e.g. any DiMarzio, EMG or Seymour Duncan etc. (Very fair prices per pickup swap). Furthermore, we offer installation of active boost and EQ circuits like EMG Afterburner, PA-2, SPC, RPC, VMC, EXG etc. Please ask for details if interested.
- Electronics: 2x Volume, 2x Tone (with push-push function on both tone pots to split each pickup), 3-way toggle switch.
