Ibanez RG550 BK - Black s/h

EXCELLENT. The guitar has obviously been not much played and well kept. It has remained in an excellent condition, especially considering its age. However, there are several minor damages to the finish at the body edges and one on the headstock (see pictures), as well as pick stratches on the pickguard. Further, there are two hairline cracks on the rear side of the neck (near the nut), which were professionally repaired. At the neck joint there are two small so-called stress cracks in the finish, both of which are barely visible (and virtually impossible to photograph). It is well known that such stress cracks can appear quite often on guitars with a bolt-on neck construction, especially if the neck is placed very tight and precisely, after the wood has reacted to changes in humidity, however slight. All these imperfections are of course only cosmetic in their nature and do not affect the playability and integrity of this instrument in any way. The hardware shows some traces of oxidation but no rust whatsoever. The frets have been redressed and are perfectly smooth. Technically, the guitar has no issues at all anyway. Furthermore, the instrument has been thoroughly checked and completely set up in our workshop.
