EXCELLENT. The guitar has seen its share of playing but remains in an excellent cosmetic condition. Apart from some pick scratches and a tiny impression on the top, as well as some very light surface playwear on the rear side, there are no issues. However, at the neck joint there are two small so-called stress cracks in the finish, which are barely visible. It is well known that such stress cracks can appear quite often on guitars with a bolt-on neck construction, especially if the neck is placed very tight and precisely, after the wood has reacted to changes in humidity, however slight. These imperfections are of course only cosmetic in their nature and do not affect the playability and integrity of this instrument in any way. Technically, the guitar has no issues at all. The electronics and the hardware are flawless, the frets have about 90% life left. Furthermore, the instrument has been professionally cleaned and set up by our guitar technicians, and carefully checked for proper function and playability by our product experts, to ensure its perfect working order.

- Body: Basswood - a wood known for its very good resonance qualities - with creme binding and an amazing quilted maple top.
- Neck: Best birdseye maple - with a very intense grain. Back of the neck unpainted, hand oiled and waxed for a smooth satin feel. Music Man guitars are particularly so famous among musicians, because of the outstanding quality of their necks.
- Neck / Body Joint: Bolt-on - 5 bolts, sculpted neck joint allows smooth access to higher frets.
- Scale: 25.5" (Standard).
- Fretboard: Best birdseye maple, high quality, with a beautiful grain. A medium-flat (12“) fretboard radius supports fast playing and easy string bending.
- Frets: 22, medium - high profile, medium width. A perfect fretjob is another famous feature of Music Man USA guitars!
- Nut: FR locking, 42 mm (standard).
- Headstock: Matching the body finish.
- Tuners: Schaller tuners with pearloid buttons. In the compact 4+2 design typical for Music Man guitars.
- Bridge: Music Man Floyd Rose tremolo, non-recessed (lower pitch only). This construction improves the tuning stability of the instrument, and enables a significantly better sustain, in comparison with free-floating Floyd Rose bridges.
- Pickups: Custom DiMarzio Humbuckers (bridge and neck). Very rocking, dynamic and absolutely quiet. Note that these pickups are not available separately. They were developed by DiMarzio exclusively for these instruments and are only factory-installed in Music Man Axis and Axis Super Sport models.
- Electronics: 1x volume, 3-way toggle switch.
