- A classic Jackson Strat model from the USA series, in the best Jackson / Charvel San Dimas tradition, produced for a very short time period in 1997 only, today rare and sought after.
- Finish: Electric Blue, with chrome hardware.
- Body: Ash.
- Neck: Quartersawn maple. Bolt-on neck construction - this enables a fast, precise attack response, while retaining a full, "fat" tone.
- Scale: 25.5" - standard.
- Fretboard: Maple, no inlays - gives the guitar a neat and noble look.
- Frets: 22.
- Headstock: Classic Jackson pointy shape, natural maple - rare!
- Tuners: Original Jackson.
- Bridge: Wilkinson VS100 tremolo.
- Pickups: 1x Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucker (bridge) - conceived as a recreation of '59 Les Paul PUs that defined the Texas blues-rock sound, this humbucker is warm, with a sweet tone, lots of sustain and a bright top end, great for artificial harmonics.
- Alternatively, upon request of the purchaser, we can also perform a professional installation of a different pickup, e.g. any DiMarzio, EMG or Seymour Duncan etc. (Very fair prices per pickup swap). Furthermore, we offer installation of active boost and EQ circuits like EMG Afterburner, PA-2, SPC, RPC, VMC, EXG etc. Please ask for details if interested.
- Electronics: 1x Volume - kept to an absolute minimum.
- Excellent quality of selected woods, craftmanship, handling and sound! And of course, a very rare opportunity to find a Jackson USA guitar from 1997 in an unplayed condition.
- The guitar comes with original Jackson USA hardshell case. This is the correct original hardcase for this model, but unfortunately, in used condition: Quite obviously, we were not in a position to locate this old case model in unused condition, while the guitar originally came without a case.
