Active studio subwoofer with 2 x 6.5-inch long-throw woofers
The WS-6.2 is an active studio subwoofer with 2 x 6.5-inch long-throw woofers. It has been designed to be both powerful and small, taking up less than half the space of a comparable subwoofer. Despite its small form factor, it achieves a maximum sound pressure of 120 dB and a lower frequency response of 27 Hz.
The woofers are horizontally opposed to avoid unwanted vibrations. A built-in 80 Hz high-pass output makes it ideal for pairing with most common studio monitors, including Kali Audio's LP and IN series.
In addition to the 80 Hz crossover, the subwoofer can be set to LFE mode or used with an external crossover. The polarity can also be reversed if needed.
Like all Kali speakers, the WS-6.2 features a unique port tube that virtually eliminates "chuffing" and port compression, allowing for clear, powerful bass with minimal distortion.
