FGN Guitars Japan - Documentary and Factory Tour Official (2014)

Oliver Hartmann präsentiert die Neo Classic LS30 im Abbey Road Institute in Frankfurt. Aufgenommen haben wir die Gitarrenspuren zu Olivers Track „I Would Murder For You“ vom aktuellen Album „Shadows & Silhouettes“. Bei der Aufnahme kam Olivers Mesa Royal Atlantic Top in Verbindung mit einer Mesa 4x12 Box zum Einsatz, diese wurde mit einem Lewitt LCT-440P und einem Shure SM-57 abgenommen. Vor dem Amp kam lediglich ein Mesa Booster/Overdrive zum Einsatz, ansonsten sind alle Spuren trocken und ohne Einsatz von EQ direkt über die SSL4000G+ Konsole aufgenommen worden.
 
Die erste Rhythmusspur mit der LS30 auf dem Stegpickup mit mittlere Verzerrung  im Panorama links angeordnet, komplementär dazu kommt die zweite Rhythmusspur mit beiden Pickups und relativ wenig Verzerrung auf der rechten Seite dazu. Alternativ hört man ab der zweiten Strophe statt der zweiten LS30 eine J-Standard Iliad ebenfalls auf dem Stegpickup mit relativ wenig Verzerrung und im Panorama rechts. Durch die recht unterschiedlichen Sounds beider Spuren werden die Rhythmusgitaren wunderbar breit und massiv. Die akzentuierte Viertel-Gitarrenspur mit der LS30 mit Stegpickup, über ein Wha mit fixer Stellung eingespielt,  liefert den Sound mit starker "Mittennase", der sich gegen die anderen Rhythmusspuren bestens abhebt.
 
Die beiden Solospuren wurden jeweils mit der LS30, das erste mit Halspickup, das zweite mit Stegpickup eingespielt, hier kam beim Mischen ein Stereo-Delay zum Einsatz.
