Music Man USA Mariposa Deluxe IW - Imperial White
Designed in collaboration with world-renowned Mars Volta and At the Drive-In composer & guitarist Omar Rodríguez-López, the Mariposa guitar comes in four striking finishes, as Mariposa Standard (with chrome hardware) in Pueblo Pink and Dorado Green, and as Mariposa Deluxe (with gold hardware) in Imperial Black and Imperial White. It features an offset angular lightweight okoume body, a roasted maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard showcasing stylish block inlays. Electronics include two custom wound EBMM humbucker pickups with separate volume control for each one, and a 3-way toggle switch. This accentuates Omar's love of heavy distortion while retaining all the subtleties of a classic humbucker sound. The pickguard is laser-etched with an original, ornate floral design, to complement specific finish options.
