Unfortunately, ESP discontinued the entire Standard Series model range, for business policy reasons. This is the final stock. Otherwise, this model is now only available through a Custom Shop order on regular basis, at a more than double the price tag and around a year waiting time.
Opportunity! One-time special offer ('old stock'), was a demo instrument for a short time (very little played). We could not detect any wear and tear on this instrument, aside from only some minimal scratches in the clearcoat on the body surface, on the rear body side (only visible upon a thorough inspection). Technically perfect, with full warranty.
- A very popular, classic ESP model, with absolutely professional features and an outstanding price-quality relation.
- Finish: Vintage Honey Burst, with nickel hardware.
- Body: Mahogany.
- Top: Flamed maple, carved.
- Neck: Mahogany. Set neck construction. This enables a very good sustain, an easy access to the upper frets, and of course a full, "fat" tone.
- Scale: 24.75" - like Gibson Les Paul, SG, Explorer etc., i.e. a 2 cm shorter scale than for instance a Stratocaster, resulting in better playability even with thicker string gauges.
- Fretboard: Rosewood, with ESP Custom „Flag“ inlays.
- Frets: 22, XJ (Jumbo) - with a perfect fretjob, another famous feature of ESP instruments.
- Nut: 42 mm (Standard).
- Headstock: ESP Eclipse-Style - in the classic black finish.
- Tuners: Sperzel USA locking.
- Bridge: Non-tremolo, orig. Gotoh Tune-o-matic with stoptail. Lots of sustain and helps to stay in tune, as well.
- Pickups: Seymour Duncan JB (TB-4) & Seymour Duncan '59 (SH-1n). This classic combination is very versatile, dynamic, easy to control and absolutely quiet.
- Electronics: 2x Volume, 1x Tone (with push/pull function), 3-way toggle switch.
- Absolutely outstanding quality of selected woods, craftsmanship, handling and sound!
- The guitar comes in a high-quality original ESP Eclipse Series formfit hardcase with ESP logo.
