When certain spare parts were no longer available for a classic compressor from the arsenal of mixing legend Chris Lord-Alge, the technicians had to make changes to the circuitry. The result is a unique compressor that is considered a "golden unit". Black Lion Audio chose this very device as the model for the Bluey, so that this special sound is now also available to other music producers. High-quality components and precise acoustic optimization bring the sound of the modified "Blue Stripe" from Lord-Alge's studio and thus a piece of music history to racks all over the world.
