- A very rare ESP model, crafted at the ESP Custom Shop in Japan from the finest tone woods, an absolutely professional instrument with top class features. However, the Ultratone line of ESP instruments is now long discontinued and has become a real rarity these days.
- Finish: Black, with black pearl pickguard of a rare color variety and impressive quality and chrome hardware.
- Body: Alder.
- Neck: Maple. Bolt-on neck construction - this enables a fast, precise attack response, while retaining a full, 'fat' tone.
- Scale: 25.5' - Standard.
- Fretboard: Rosewood, with dot inlays and white binding - a discreet but very noble looking instrument!
- Frets: 22, XJ - with a perfect fretjob, another famous feature of ESP instruments.
- Headstock: ESP Viper style, matching the body finish, with white binding.
- Tuners: Sperzel USA locking tuners, installed by the previous owner - often requested by professional artists, these tuners are a must-have for the demanding musician. The key to their design is eliminating wraps around the string post, which can cause string slippage and tuning problems. Simply loosen the thumbwheel located on the back, feed the string through the post, lock the thumbwheel tight, cut off the remaining string, tune up and youre finished better tuning stability and no more restringing nightmares.
- Bridge: Non-tremolo, Tune-o-Matic with stoptail.
- Pickups: 2x Seymour Duncan P-90 - offering a great variety of vintage and modern tones.
- Electronics: 1x volume, 1x tone, 3-way toggle switch.
- Absolutely outstanding quality of selected woods, craftmanship, handling and sound! The overall quality is comparable to Custom Shop instruments made by the famous US guitar companies - which prices usually are in completely different price regions, though.
