ZEDi offers the best of both worlds, incorporating a studio quality 24-bit/96kHz USB audio interface for hassle-free recording, playback and streaming when connected to a Mac or PC, or to an iOS device using the iOS camera kit. The USB output source can be set up in several different ways to match your workflow.
ZEDi comes with the acclaimed Cubase LE software. From singers and songwriters recording vocal lines to rock bands jamming in their rehearsal room, Cubase LE is as easy as it gets – with outstanding audio quality as well as time-saving recording and editing functionality. The Cubasis app for iOS is also included for free, enabling you to enjoy performing, recording, mixing and sharing your music in no time, wherever you are, right there on your iPhone and iPad.
ZEDi features a meticulously crafted preamp design, developed by the same R&D team that work on our flagship touring mixers. The preamps offer exceptionally low noise and massive headroom, with a signature analogue warmth and depth.
Our analogue engineers designed the MusiQ EQ especially for ZED mixers, carefully optimising the curves and target frequencies to deliver a simple to use, musical EQ that works equally well on stage or in the studio. Each ZEDi Compact mixer features a responsive 3-band, swept mid frequency EQ design with optimised slope (or Q factor) for equalising individual instruments, with a 2-band EQ on stereo channels.
ZEDi comes with two Guitar DI high impedance jack inputs, allowing guitars to be plugged straight into the mixer without the need for DI boxes. That’s one less piece of gear to buy, carry and set up.
