    • The perfect 8-string J-Custom Special Edition model by Ibanez for the perfect 'djent'-leman (bad pun alert!), based on the RG2228 and meticulously handcrafted by selected master builders at the Japanese Ibanez Custom Shop. An instrument with absolutely professional features and an outstanding price-quality relation.
    • This special edition is only availible in a limited quantitiy of three guitars! It can be safely supposed that the most of these guitars are already sold by pre-order and will not be put on free sale.
    • Finish: Brown Garnet Shadow, with black hardware for the first time.
    • Body: Selected ash (40mm), with a beautiful 4mm flamed maple top in AAA quality.
    • Neck: Maple / wenge, 5-piece RG j.custom, with KTS titanium reinforcement. Bolt-on neck construction - this enables a fast, precise attack response, while retaining a full, "fat" tone.
    • Scale: 27" - Baritone.
    • Fretboard: Selected rosewood with flamed maple binding. With "Tree Of Life" inlay - a very classy looking instrument!
    • Frets: 24, Jumbo - with a perfect fretjob, another famous feature of Ibanez instruments.
    • Nut: FR-style locking, 55mm.
    • Headstock: Ibanez RG8-style - matching headstock.
    • Bridge: Orig. Ibanez FX Edge III-8 locking bridge - this double locking fixed bridge was specially designed for thicker strings & down tunings.
    • Pickups: 1x EMG 808 (neck) humbucker, 1x EMG 808 (bridge) humbucker. This combination is very versatile, provides lots of gain for aggressive sounds, fits well for downtuning and is absolutely quiet.
    • Alternatively, upon request of the purchaser, we can also perform a professional installation of a different pickup combination, e.g. any DiMarzio, EMG or Seymour Duncan etc. (Very fair prices per pickup swap). Furthermore, we offer installation of active boost and EQ circuits like EMG Afterburner, PA-2, SPC, RPC, VMC, EXG etc. Please ask for details if interested.
    • Electronics: 1x volume, 1x tone, 5-way switch.
    • Excellent quality of selected woods, craftsmanship, handling and sound!
    • The guitar comes in an original Ibanez "Team J. Craft" formfit case, with factory accessories & certificate of authenticity.
