To guarantee impeccable sound characteristics, SSL makes no compromises in the crucial areas. The four microphone preamps impress with best-in-class values and are even equipped with an HPF switch that removes unwanted rumble from your signal. SSL uses original components from Neutrik, Alps and AKM. Convenient level meters, separately adjustable headphone outputs, a talkback microphone and MIDI connections round off the ambitious features.
If a signal needs a little more character, the Legacy 4K switch can help. This allows you to add a dose of analogue sound and glamour at any time. You can use the 8-channel ADAT input to add additional microphone inputs, for example.
You can easily set up and program your SSL12 using the free SSL 360° software, which is also used to manage the SSL DAW and plug-in controllers. The SSL12 mixer is also available there for virtually latency-free monitoring mixes. And as if that wasn't enough, SSL also includes a noble selection of software licenses for SSL native plug-ins, DAWs, samples, loops and virtual instruments. This toolbox is optimized for your workflow - whether tracking, mixing or production. So you can get started right away!
