Teenage Engineering OB-4 Black - „Magic Radio“
Teenage Engineering's "Magic Radio" hides some exciting magic tricks under its clearly structured user interface: Rewind briefly to remember the title of your new favourite song? Restart the radio play or have the sports results read out more slowly? Missed the news? No problem! The OB-4 saves all playback in a virtual 2-hour endless loop. This can be looped, time-stretched and much more. Thanks to motorised controls, the whole thing is as simple and intuitive to operate as the old cassette recorder.
The audio technology is also state-of-the-art and offers crystal-clear, natural sound with room-filling bass thanks to the built-in 2-way stereo speaker system with 2×38 watts of Class-D amplification and a flow-optimised bass reflex channel. The built-in FM receiver, high-end Bluetooth, line-in and disc mode are available as sources. As the next magic trick, new experimental functions are constantly being developed for the OB-4; there are currently three sound loops in this mode:
Ambient: Drone sounds generated by excerpts from a radio programme
Metronome: High-definition stereo recording, 1-800 BPM
Karma: 30 musical mantra loops as a spiritual companion
The cleverly designed carrying handle can be used as an inclined positioner for the optimum listening and operating position and houses the smart FM spiral antenna. The OB-4 is also a great companion when travelling, the built-in rechargeable Lipo battery provides enough power for a week of mobile music enjoyment or 8 hours of uninterrupted operation at a maximum output volume of 100dB. The customised optional leather or nylon carrying cases ensure optimum protection with maximum functionality.
