The SkarBassOne from Trondheim Audio Devices, developed in Norway, is a complete effects pedal (compressor and overdrive) for bass guitar. The pedal is designed to be connected directly to an amplifier, interface or DI box.
The pedal is 100% analog and offers everything you need for a professional bass sound when practicing, live and in the studio! SkarBassOne features a lightning-fast FET compressor with associated compression LED to indicate gain reduction. In addition, the pedal has a switchable multiband overdrive with a clean low end, which guarantees a fat and assertive overdrive sound. The mid filter is precise and reduces frequencies that are masked by other instruments. Now you can finally play loudly without disturbing the rest of the band!
The footswitch can be used to activate/deactivate the pedal's multiband drive. This allows you to go from a mild distortion to a violent overdrive, which, unlike conventional overdrives, does not attack the low fundamental frequencies of the signal.
