The WA-14 is a classic condenser microphone based on an early 1970s microphone heard on countless hit recordings. The WA-14 uses a proprietary brass CK12 capsule, a CineMag USA transformer, and a fully discrete signal path. The WA-14 is suitable as a general-purpose microphone for a range of applications including: punchy/warm and intimate lead vocals, acoustic/electric guitars, bass, drums/percussion, strings and orchestral recording. The WA-14 offers the realism and density of the classic model at an affordable price.
