The Hi-X65 headphones represent design and craftsmanship from Vienna. Designed as a professional reference headphone for mixing and mastering, it defines new standards. The design in combination with the 44 mm high-excursion driver stand for an absolutely transparent, linear and open sound image down to the lowest frequencies.
The impressive soundstage of the Hi-X65 reveals every nuance without coloration and delights sound engineers and audiophiles alike. The development of Hi-X technology is the result of decades of experience and state-of-the-art technology. Thus, sensational dynamic characteristics could be achieved by reducing all moving masses of the Hi-X driver. With an impedance of 25 ohms, precise decisions can be made in the working process, regardless of the playback device.
The exceptionally breathable construction provides excellent ventilation and is part of the acoustic design. All touch points are made of soft, durable memory foam and can be replaced effortlessly. The rethought ear cushions offer plenty of room with small external dimensions. A clever cutout in the Hi-X65's headband along the sensitive head seam provides significant relief when worn.
Remarkable comfort and optimal fit thus enable fatigue-free work even during time-intensive audio projects. The decision to fabricate all of the Hi-X65's load-bearing and moving parts from metal underscores the importance of its rugged, foldable construction for everyday use.
