A rare model with non-tremolo bridge!
EXCELLENT. This guitar comes from the old production and, considering its age, is in a remarkable condition. There are only minor cosmetic issues such as the unavoidable tiny pick scratches and some surface wear wear in the finish on the body edges and the rear body side, all hardly noticeable. Technically, the instrument is fine. The electronics and the hardware are perfect, the frets have about 95% life left. Furthermore, the instrument has been professionally cleaned and set up by our guitar technicians, and carefully checked for proper function and playability by our product experts, to ensure its perfect working order.

- Finish: Translucent Red, with chrome hardware.
- Body: Basswood - a wood known for its very good resonance qualities - with creme binding and an amazing quilted maple top.
- Neck: Best birdseye maple - with a very intense grain. Back of the neck unpainted, hand oiled and waxed for a smooth satin feel. Music Man guitars are particularly so famous among musicians, because of the outstanding quality of their necks.
- Neck / Body Joint: Bolt-on - 5 bolts, sculpted neck joint allows smooth access to higher frets.
- Scale: 25.5" (Standard).
- Fretboard: Best rosewood. A medium-flat (12“) fretboard radius supports fast playing and easy string bending.
- Frets: 22, medium - high profile, medium width. A perfect fretjob is another famous feature of Music Man USA guitars!
- Nut: 42 mm.
- Headstock: Matching the body finish.
- Tuners: Schaller. In the compact 4+2 design typical for Music Man guitars.
- Bridge: Music Man non-tremolo, strings-through-body.
- Pickups: Custom DiMarzio Humbuckers (bridge and neck). Very rocking, dynamic and absolutely quiet. Note that these pickups are not available separately. They were developed by DiMarzio exclusively for these instruments and are only factory-installed in Music Man Axis and Axis Super Sport models.
- Electronics: 1x volume, 3-way toggle switch.
