LIKE NEW. The guitar has obviously been played very little and actually matches a brand new instrument in function and cosmetics, apart from a minimal, barely detectable impression on the lower body edge. Other than that, we could not detect any wear and tear at all. The electronics and the hardware are flawless, the frets have zero wear. Furthermore, the instrument has been professionally set up by our guitar technicians, and carefully checked for proper function and playability by our product experts, to ensure its perfect working order.
- One of the most versatile electric guitars and probably the only series model worldwide with 4 pickups! Created in close co-operation with Steve Morse.
- Finish: Blue Burst, with black pickguard and chrome hardware.
- Body: Poplar. This wood is often preferred because of its excellent resonance characteristics.
- Neck: Best maple. Back of the neck unpainted, hand oiled and waxed for a smooth satin feel. Bolt-on neck construction - this enables a fast, precise attack response, while retaining a full, "fat" tone.
- Scale: 25.5" (Standard).
- Fretboard: Rosewood, with dot inlays.
- Frets: 22, high profile, wide.
- Nut: 41,3 mm.
- Headstock: Natural, with the Steve Morse signature.
- Tuners: Tuners: Schaller M-6 IND locking tuners, placed in the compact 4+2 design typical for Music Man guitars.
- Bridge: Music Man Steve Morse Custom Stoptail bridge. For a very long sustain.
- Pickups: 2x Custom DiMarzio Steve Morse Humbuckers (bridge and neck), and 2x Custom DiMarzio Steve Morse single coils in the middle position. The latter are not available separately. They were developed by DiMarzio in co-operation with Steve Morse exclusively for this guitar model and are only factory-installed in Music Man Steve Morse guitars. A total of 11 pickup combinations, to cover all sound directions you can ever imagine.
