In 1987, Mike Soldano created the now legendary Super Lead Overdrive 100-watt tube head. The SLO set the standard for modern high-gain amplification and nearly four decades later, is still one of the most coveted amps in history. The SLOs drive channel found it backing up renowned rock guitarists like Mick Mars (Mötley Crüe), Warren de Martini (Ratt), and Howard Leese (Heart), while the bluesy crunch channel made the SLO the first choice for non-metal stalwarts, such as Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Warren Haynes, Gary Moore and Lou Reed, to name a few.
The Soldano SLO-Mini head is a 30-watt powerhouse with the same rich overdrive and crunch as the original amplifier. This ultra-compact head delivers searing harmonics, and the perfect balance of gain, sustain and tight touch response that the SLO has become famous for. Whether playing, practicing or recording you’ll want to take the extremely versatile Mini SLO amp everywhere with you. The SLO Mini is loaded with player-friendly features including Crunch/Overdrive mode switch, Normal/Deep voicing switch and controls for gain, level, three band EQ and presence. On the back panel you’ll find a high-quality effects loop ideal for using your favorite effects. The included 24V universal-voltage power-supply means you can take your SLO Mini wherever you travel.
