Active DI Box

Whether it's guitar, bass, keyboards or any other stringed instrument, converting instrument signals to microphone signals should not affect the sound. This is where WarmAudio comes in, presenting DI boxes designed for maximum sonic integrity. From the individually wound CineMag USA transformer to the rugged metal knob and switches. A warm, rich sound is present even after long cable runs. This is made possible by using high-quality, discrete components. The rugged aluminum housing and all switches, knobs and connectors used are designed for everyday use in the studio or on stage and withstand even the heaviest loads.

The WarmAudio DI is available in passive and active versions. The active version is ideal for all low-level instruments with passive pickups. Clever detail: if no supply voltage (48v phantom power, 2*9V block) is present, it can also be operated passively. The passive version, on the other hand, is ideally suited for keyboards and other high-level sources, but also harmonizes very well with passive pickups thanks to its extremely wide frequency range.

As a practical novelty, both devices have an adjustable pad. In the range from -3dB to -30dB, the level can be optimally adjusted to the instrument used and annoying distortion is avoided.

No loadbox function, for use at the speaker out of an amp, speaker/loadbox must be connected to "Thru" jack.
