EXCELLENT. This guitar is in fantastic shape, considering its age. It looks beautiful, with only light surface playwear such as microscopic impressions in the clearcoat of the finish and hairline scratches, mostly on the body back. Technically, the guitar is flawless and has no issues whatsoever. The hardware and electronics are fine, the frets are in new condition. Furthermore, the instrument has been professionally cleaned and set up by our guitar technicians, and carefully checked for proper function and playability by our product experts, to ensure its perfect working order.
- The signature model, developed after exact specifications by Eddie Van Halen, with excellent tone and unbelievably ergonomic handling. A top professional instrument and a rare and very sought after collector's item. This model has been discontinued in 1995 and the existing instruments appear on sale now very rarely, especially in good condition.

- Finish: Translucent Gold, with chrome hardware.
- Body: Basswood - a wood known for its very good resonance qualities - with creme binding and an amazingly figured maple top.
- Neck: Best select birdseye maple - Back of the neck unpainted, hand oiled and waxed for a smooth satin feel. Music Man guitars are particularly so famous among musicians, because of the outstanding quality of their necks.
- Neck / Body Joint: Bolt-on - 5 bolts, sculpted neck joint allows smooth access to higher frets.
- Scale: 25.5" (Standard).
- Fretboard: Best birdseye maple.
- Frets: 22, medium - high profile, medium width.
- Nut: 42 mm (standard).
- Headstock: Matches the body finish.
- Tuners: Schaller tuners with pearloid buttons. In the compact 4+2 design typical for Music Man guitars.
- Bridge: Music Man fixed bridge.
- Pickups: Custom DiMarzio Eddie van Halen Humbuckers (bridge and neck). These pickups are very dynamic and absolutely quiet. They were developed by DiMarzio exclusively for this model and now are only factory-installed in Music Man Axis and Axis Super Sport models.
- Electronics: 1x volume, 3-way toggle switch.
