EXCELLENT. This guitar has only little playwear, in form of minimal impressions on the surface, in the clearcoat of the finish, and mostly on the rear side, as well as some pick scratches. However, at the neck joint there are two small so-called stress cracks in the finish, which are barely visible. It is well known that such stress cracks can appear quite often on guitars with a bolt-on neck construction, especially if the neck is placed very tight and precisely, after the wood has reacted to changes in humidity, however slight. These imperfections are of course only cosmetic in their nature and do not affect the playability and integrity of this instrument in any way. The guitar has no technical issues at all. The electronics and the hardware are fine, the frets have about 90% life left. Furthermore, the instrument has been professionally cleaned and set up by our guitar technicians, and carefully checked for proper function and playability by our product experts, to ensure its perfect working order.

- Body: Basswood - a wood known for its very good resonance qualities. With cream binding.
- Neck: Best birdseye maple - back of the neck unpainted, hand oiled and waxed for a smooth satin feel. Music Man guitars are particularly so famous among musicians, because of the outstanding quality of their necks.
- Scale: 25.5" - Standard.
- Fretboard: Rosewood. A medium-flat (12“) fretboard radius supports fast playing and easy string bending.
- Frets: 22, high profile, medium width.
- Nut: 42 mm - Standard.
- Headstock: Natural.
- Tuners: Schaller M-6 IND locking tuners with pearloid knobs - placed in the compact 4+2 design typical for Music Man guitars.
- Bridge: Original Music Man non-tremolo, strings-through-body.
- Pickups: Custom DiMarzio Humbuckers (bridge and neck). Very rocking in their nature, dynamic and absolutely quiet. Note that these pickups are not available separately. They were developed by DiMarzio exclusively for these instruments and are only factory-installed in Music Man Axis and Axis Super Sport models.
