A rare model with non-tremolo bridge!
EXCELLENT. The guitar is in great shape, considering its age. It does have some playwear such as several scratches and impressions on the body and headstock, however, they are all of a surface nature and not really noticeable from the front. Technically, the guitar is fine and has no issues whatsoever. The hardware and the electronics are absolutely OK, the frets still have plenty of life left. Furthermore, the instrument has been professionally cleaned and set up by our guitar technicians, and carefully checked for proper function and playability by our product experts, to ensure its perfect working order.

- Finish: Translucent Red, with chrome hardware.
- Body: Basswood - a wood known for its very good resonance qualities - with creme binding and an amazing quilted maple top.
- Neck: Best birdseye maple - back of the neck unpainted, hand oiled and waxed for a smooth satin feel. Music Man guitars are particularly so famous among musicians, because of the outstanding quality of their necks.
- Neck / Body Joint: Bolt-on - 5 bolts, sculpted neck joint allows smooth access to higher frets.
- Scale: 25.5" (Standard).
- Fretboard: Best birdseye maple. A medium-flat (10“) fretboard radius supports fast playing and easy string bending.
- Frets: 22, medium - high profile, medium width.
- Nut: 42 mm.
- Headstock: Matching the body finish.
- Tuners: Schaller. In the compact 4+2 design typical for Music Man guitars.
- Bridge: Music Man non-tremolo, strings-through-body.
- Pickups: Custom DiMarzio Humbuckers (bridge and neck). Very rocking, dynamic and absolutely quiet. Note that these pickups are not available separately. They were developed by DiMarzio exclusively for these instruments and are only factory-installed in Music Man Axis and Axis Super Sport models.
- Electronics: 1x volume, 3-way toggle switch.
