PRS USA Special 22 Semi-Hollow OB - Autumn Sky - Limited Edition 267220 electric guitar – first presented at the Experience PRS event, this Paul Reed Smith limited edition offers a unique, very versatile HSH pickup configuration, with two PRS 58/15 MT (Multi-Tap) humbuckers and a PRS Narrowfield middle PU. The 58/15 MT’s offer all the tone of the originals while compensating for volume loss when split to single coils. The Narrowfield pickup delivers the bite of a single coil, without the hum but with lots of punch and clarity. With the extensive electronics on board, this guitar can handle a myriad of sounds and styles, and the semi-hollow body provides a touch of airiness and depth to the guitar’s tone. The foundation of this instrument is very much like a Custom 22 – but the versatile electronics truly carry it to new sonic territory.
