As is generally known, unfortunately, ESP discontinued the majority of the Standard Series models on short-term basis, for business policy reasons. Here is the last one of this kind in our stock. This model will only be available through a Custom Shop order in the future, at a respective (much higher) price tag.
- This is a one-of-a-kind instrument from the PMT Special Edition Series. In this special model line, exclusively built in a close co-operation between ESP and ProMusicTools, each (!) instrument is a one-off custom creation built by our original specifications. Apart from many interesting features not available on standard production models, it is also the pricing which makes them very attractive: We offer most of the guitars for about only 1/2 of the usual price paid for a similar instrument ordered through the Custom Shop.

- The concept for this guitar is based upon the ESP V Standard - a very popular, classic ESP model, with absolutely professional features and an outstanding price-quality relation. However, ESP does not produce a series V Standard with a mahogany neck and same features as this Special Edition anymore. A similar instrument would only be available from the ESP Custom Shop for a price well over 4000 EUR.
- Finish: Snow White, exclusively with black hardware.
- Body: Mahogany.
- Neck: Mahogany, natural matte finish on the back on the neck - for a good grip, suited ideally for fast, fluid playing and easy string bending. Neck-thru-body construction. This enables a very good sustain, and a super easy access to the upper frets.
- Scale: 25.5' - Standard.
- Fretboard: Ebony, no inlays except 'ESP' inlay at the 12th fret.
- Frets: 24, XJ (Jumbo) - with a perfect fretjob, another famous feature of ESP instruments.
- Nut: Bone, 42 mm.
- Headstock: ESP Pointed - color-matching the body finish.
- Binding: White (on the neck and headstock) - blends beautifully with plain black fretboard and black hardware. The instrument looks just noble!
- Tuners: Sperzel USA locking tuners - often requested by professional artists, these tuners are a must-have for the demanding musician. The key to their design is eliminating wraps around the string post, which can cause string slippage and tuning problems. Simply loosen the thumbwheel located on the back, feed the string through the post, lock the thumbwheel tight, cut off the remaining string, tune up and you’re finished – better tuning stability and no more restringing nightmares.
- Bridge: Non-tremolo, Tune-o-matic, strings-thru-body - for even more sustain.
- Pickups: Seymour Duncan Blackout AHB-2 / AHB-1n active humbuckers in white - high-output pickup combination for extreme heaviness, aggressive yet dynamic, with an amazing mid-range punch, suited ideally for thick, dark chords and screaming leads.
- Alternatively, upon request of the purchaser, we can also perform a professional installation of a different pickup combination, e.g. any DiMarzio, EMG or Seymour Duncan etc. (Very fair prices per pickup swap). Furthermore, we offer installation of active boost and EQ circuits like EMG Afterburner, PA-2, SPC, RPC, VMC, EXG etc. Please ask for details if interested.
- Electronics: 2x Volume, 1x Tone (with push-pull function for the 'louder' mode of the bridge pickup), 3-way toggle switch, battery cavity.
