EXCELLENT. This guitar is in a remarkable condition, especially considering its age. It has only little wear, although it has surely seen its share of playing. All there is are only small impressions in the clearcoat of the finish on the body and the headstock, as well as some pick scratches, all strictly of a surface nature and not easily noticeable. Technically, there are no issues with the instrument; the hardware and the electronics work fine, the frets have approx. 90% life left. Furthermore, the instrument has been professionally cleaned and set up by our guitar technicians, and carefully checked for proper function and playability by our product experts, to ensure its perfect working order.
- Hamer belongs already since the beginning of the 70s to the elite of US guitar builders. This company has practically all by itself created and defined the "Custom Shop" category, a term often used and much respected today. The list of options which were first introduced on a series guitar model by Hamer, is nothing short of impressive: Floyd Rose tremolo, exposed coils, graphics as a finish option, locking tuners, black hardware etc. Today the name Hamer still stands for 100% hand work, finest craftsmanship and the use of best materials available.
